Robert Glatter, M.D. is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician. In
addition to being an attending physician in Emergency Medicine at both
Lenox Hill Hospital and Southampton Hospital, Dr Glatter established a
signature medical practice, DR 911 (912 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY).

Dr. Glatter graduated from Emory University School of Medicine and
completed his residency in Emergency Medicine (EM) at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in
Brooklyn, NY. Prior to completing his residency in EM, Dr. Glatter trained in General Surgery
at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in
Atlanta, GA and Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Additional training included two years
of research at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where he investigated the use
of lasers as an alternative therapy to treat burn patients. In 1998, his findings were
published in Annals of Surgery,a prestigious monthly surgical review.
During the Fall and Winter seasons, Dr. Glatter is a sideline physician
and medical consultant in the NFL for the New York Jets. Among his many
professional affiliations, Dr. Glatter serves on multiple committees for
the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM). In addition, he is an
Editor for Medscape, a WebMD affiliate, which is a widely utilized
educational resource for medical providers. |
