Alexander Conti, Chairman of the Board, is a community civic activist
with many local organizations. He is a past President of the Bay Ridge
Community Council, and the Bay Ridge Lion’s
Club. Currently, Alexander is President of St. Patrick’s Holy Name Society. Locally, he is also a member of Ben Bay Kiwanis, Knights of Columbus
and sits on the Advisory Board of The Guild for Exceptional Children and the Bay Ridge
Center for Older Adults. Alexander is a philanthropist who also dedicates his time and energy
to many New York City based foundations and projects such as The National Arts Club, The
Columbus Citizens Foundation, The Association of the United States Army, and the Honorary
Deputy Commissioners Foundation. In 2001, Alexander founded The Worldwide Children’s
Foundation of New York. He is currently the Board Chairman of the Foundation which
provides life-saving surgery to critically-ill children throughout the world. To date, the
organization has saved the lives of twenty children from six countries. Alexander is a financial
representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and is a past recipient of the Ellis
Island Medal of Honor (2003), the distinguished Citizens Award from the Learning for Life
Program affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America (2004) and the American Cancer Society
Crystal award (2003). Alex is listed in Cambridge Who’s Who among Executives,
Professional and Entrepreneurs 2008. |
